IV Conference

The time of pestilence left a particular mark on the experience of primitive communities - the family home. This is what the next of our conferences is devoted to. We look at the family's cohesiveness and/or the crisis resulting from experiencing the pandemic crisis, we look for answers about the strategies parents/families took in the face of the pandemic threat and to what extent the household members gave support to each other and to what extent they were a "SHAME" to each other.

Intriguing are questions about the role of the father/mother and in what ways their position in the family was dominant and decisive, and in what ways they delegated tasks/responsibility to someone else; the condition of families during the pandemic was a function of a variety of variables that we would like to look at, to understand their impact on families by asking ourselves the important question, "Will "what the pandemic did to us (families) remain permanent, or is this a reactive sequence that, with the normalization of the external situation, will allow families to regain their previous balance, vigor, and condition?

Asking about the family, we also want to reflect on the descending generation, on the situation of Senior Citizens who have been "frightened" by the stigmatizing narrative "You are the first to die, you are the most vulnerable". What are the consequences of this stigma we define after the research conducted, how does it affect cultural transmission and intergenerational community, and what to do about it?

The questions we pose in the context of the Family and its functioning in a period of pandemic are many, nevertheless we do not lose from the particular issue of the parents' agility in taming the new educational and didactic situation in the own home resulting from remote learning.
