Magdalena Wieczorek
A Polish language teacher, a long-term school pedagogue and educator, teacher-consultant in a teachers' training centre. She completed postgraduate studies in re-socialisation, psychocorrection of behavioural disorders in children and young people and coaching in education.
She actively cooperates with the local community, in support of education and prevention - with methodical advisors, pedagogues and school psychologists. She is a trainer in the Golden Five programme and the author of the FALOCHRON project for young people in the Silesian Voivodeship. Prevention of risky behaviours among children and young people in the Silesian Voivodeship. She cooperates with teachers in supporting them in solving upbringing problems, supports schools in their development, runs cooperation and teacher training networks. In her work she is guided by the words of Maria Montessori, that in the life of a child one should produce so much good, that it displaces evil. She is also an instructor of the School for Parents and Educators. The aim of the programme is to increase parents' parenting skills and change parenting/parenting attitudes to prevent or minimise problematic/risky behaviours of children and adolescents. In her work she uses the method of Rational Behaviour Therapy, which allows to increase competence in effective controlling of one's own emotions and creating effective relations with others using the tool of working with beliefs. She also completed ACT - Acceptance and Commitment Therapy - one of the most popular methods of psychotherapy and psychological training, belonging to the so-called third wave of behavioural therapy.
