Research miniatures
The beginnings of a holistic idea, shy, because "frightened in direct proportion" to the lack of knowledge about the real nature of the plague, research experiments, made both ad hoc, brought together with the opportunity to meet in a possible sequence of real meetings with pupils/students, provoked in the mode of social, family meetings, solicitations addressed to imagined "research subjects", listening to various forums on the Internet, in the media, in queues, as well as in my rural, neighbourhood assemblies. Everyone was ranting as much as possible, everyone had their own concept, often as many heads as many ideas about the nature of the plague, the polyphony muted and unintentionally merged into a unified narrative of fear, anxiety and uncertainty. It was from these "assemblies", didactic episodes, overheard conversations on the road... that the image of a holistic idea emerged. Also, when the young people with whom, for various reasons, I work, I am in the middle of the pandemic, in its particularly contagious moment initiated numerous debates on: "The world after the pandemic" and/or "How to live in a postcovid world?". The youthful optimism, or perhaps the characteristic pragmatism, of contemporary young people transcended fear and uncertainty. Their need was to look boldly beyond the horizon of a time of blight. They took me there with them, however I wanted to embark on this journey with the awareness of "What about us and/or what has the pandemic done to us?". Hence the idea of research.
